West Coast Wildfires Inspire Sparks Of Goodwill

WEST COAST WILDFIRESINSPIRE SPARKS OF GOODWILL

As wildfires smolder across the West Coast, sparks of goodwill continue to spread amidst the Carpet One Floor & Home community as neighbors become friends and our members and staff continue to pay it forward, even in their own moments of uncertainty.

In September, the crew at Lippert’s Carpet One Floor & Home in Medford, Oregon didn’t hesitate to help their fellow citizens, teaming up with several local relief organizations to provide information, resources, and much-needed supplies to those affected by the wildfires.

In mid-September, Stephanie and Scott Lippert loaded up their carpet van with donated goods from good Samaritans around their region to assist the Maslow Project, a local charity helping homeless families and youth, in their efforts to provide immediate relief to those most seriously affected by the wildfires.

In Bozeman, Montana, Stuart Beiswanger of Gallatin Valley Carpet One Floor & Home likewise didn’t hesitate to volunteer his company van for assistance efforts. Stuart even offered up his van and his staff to assist displaced citizens with emergency evacuations.

The Lipperts also joined forces with their local NBC television affiliate to compile a regional Firestorm Research Guide to evacuee and donation centers throughout the region. The comprehensive guide lists dozens of assistance resources throughout southern Oregon, including fundraising events, collection drives, rebuilding and damage assistance, shelters, food pantries, and more. The goal, store officials noted, was to note only help those in need, but encourage others to join them in their outreach efforts.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected in the Oregon wildfires and we strongly support our local firefighters, law enforcement, and all of those who have been affected by the wildfires in our area,” Scott Lippert said.
